Rochetta L. Keller

Rochetta L. Keller, 55, of Tamaroa, passed away at 6:12 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2008, at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital at Pinckneyville.

Rochetta was a homemaker and beautician.  She was a member of the Tamaroa Pentecostal Church.  She was a talented artist and wrote poetry.

She was born April 27, 1953 at Fort Hood, Texas, the daughter of Robert and Glenna (Rader) Pierce.

She married John B. Keller on December 14, 1974, at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Du Quoin and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Tamaroa, three children - William Keller of Centralia, Ryan Keller of Tamaroa, and Rachel Keller of Tamaroa, her step mother - Nadine Pierce of Du Quoin, one half sister - Pam Pierce of Arkansas, two half brothers - Kevin Pierce of Arkansas, and Alan Pierce of California, her caretaker - Cindy Reid of Pinckneyville, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 11, at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jackie Joe Davison officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Per Mrs. Keller's request, cremation will follow the service.
